A street in the Minidoka Camp in Idaho. The buildings are the barracks that the Japanese Americans were force to live in for the their stay in the camp. The camp held 9,397 people at its peak, but the total number of people that went through the camp is 13,078. As seen the in picture the streets are dirt roads. Overall the conditions were horrendous. The camp was closed on October 28, 1945. The detainees were from Washington and Oregon. The picture on the right is of a different part of the camp. It, also, shows the barracks of the camp.
